A Place to Pause

There is something so satisfying about creating a room that feels like it has a story. I loved filling this space with little details, from the collection of framed artwork and vintage records to the leafy plants, books and carefully chosen objects scattered throughout.

For this piece, I wanted that bright yellow armchair to take centre stage, surrounded by layers of colour, pattern and texture. The blue wall brings everything together, while the timber furniture and patterned rug add warmth. It’s a cosy, collected space that feels personal, creative and full of character.

Created with gouache and pen on watercolour paper, this original artwork is full of tiny hand-drawn details, soft textures and layered colour.
