The Velvet Salon

This one is for the true maximalists who aren't afraid of a bit of drama. I really wanted to play with a grand, theatrical scale for this room, starting with that massive, leafy tapestry hanging right above the deep blue velvet sofa. It felt like creating a lush, secret jungle right inside the house.

I leaned heavily into a regal palette here….pairing vibrant cobalt walls with a textured sage green rug and those plush, tufted floor cushions. But my absolute favourite part to paint had to be the metallic touches; I had so much fun using a fine pen to pick out the details on the statement gold chandelier and the elegant geometric coffee table
